Environmental Studies Program

ENVR Minor

In addition to obtaining a major in Environmental Studies, the program allows the opportunity for UNL students to obtain a minor in ENVR. Students must receive a C or better in all ENVR courses.

Requirements (18 credit hours):

  1. Geography 181 OR Natural Resources 103
  2. Environmental Studies 489
  3. A minimum of 14 hours with 6 hours at the 300 level OR higher from among the following:
  • Anthropology 473
  • Biological Sciences 232 OR Biological Sciences 220 OR Biological Sciences 207 (ASC only)
  • Chemistry 105 OR Chemistry 109 OR Chemistry 113
  • Environmental Studies 499A & B/499H
  • Geology 106
  • Meteorology 200
  • Natural Resources 323
  • Sociology 444 OR Sociology 446
