Inclusive Educational Learning Environment Commitment

The Environmental Studies Program welcomes and engages cultural diversity centered on mutual respect and understanding. We recognize the collective power of individuals to create a more equitable, sustainable and resilient world. Environmental Studies offers experiences for UNL students that provide traditional and cultural perspectives and complement existing knowledge.

Sustainability and Resilience Commitment

We provide a rigorous academic program in which sustainability and resilience are core principles applied across the curriculum. Our comprehensive learning experiences empower students to create a more equitable, sustainable and resilient world that results in the effective, efficient, economic, and environmentally/socially responsible use of resources in the short- and long-term.
