Our bachelor's degree program will provide both a comprehensive education in the physical, biological, and social sciences and development of competency in a specific discipline. This combination prepares students to contribute solutions for current and future local, regional, and global environmental challenges.

Our interdisciplinary curriculum uses a student-centered approach to create a positive and nurturing learning community emphasizing engagement in the community, internship opportunities, communication skills, collaboration, teamwork, leadership skills, and critical thinking that will serve students well in the workplace, the pursuit of advanced degrees, and/or as life-long learners.

A balance between Community Engagement, Student Focus, Course Work, and Student Organizations
