Hillary is a Lecturer in the Environmental and Sustainability Studies Program. Her research is focused on environmental and science identity and how these identities shape how we understand, learn about, and care for our surroundings. She is committed to helping students become systems thinkers who are knowledgeable about and have the skills to make informed decisions about complex socio-ecological issues. She is currently finishing up her PhD and enjoys spending time with her family and outdoors.
