Your Environmental Studies academic advisor is available to assist with your academic success at UNL. Along with our faculty, the professional academic advisor provided to help you work towards your future career.

The academic advisor does more than course selection. Advising is also about setting goals, having an advocate along the way, and getting the most out of your college experience. Students may schedule an appointment to discuss any aspect of life at UNL including major or minor planning, career and research opportunities, post-graduate preparation, student involvement, internships, and much more.

Drop-ins are welcome, but appointments are best. Please schedule an appointment via MyPLAN. You can get to MyPLAN directly from Canvas. Just log into UNL Canvas and click Account, then Settings, and then MyPLAN.

Developing a professional relationship with your academic advisor is key to success. Please see your advisor at least once a semester although you are encouraged to visit more often!

The Environmental Studies Advising Career Experience Team, or ES ACE Team, is here to support you in your overall success at Nebraska. We can help you explore your academic and career options, identify ways to build experience, prepare to apply for internships, jobs or graduate school, and help with resumes, applications, networking, interviewing, and more! If you have a question and don’t know where to start, ask one of us and we’ll be happy to help you and get you connected to the resources you need.
